Text: Ezek 28:13, Ish 14:14-18, Gen 1:1-2, Rev 12:1-10
We will attempt to bring exposure to the one who is waging war against the saints up until date. I’m sure that by now you already know whom I speak of, his name is Satan the Devil—that ancient serpent.
Before we move further I need to tell you who he was and who is he now.
It all began in the eternities of God, in one of the many ages he created even before man was created. 3 quadrants of the Angelic are made clear unto us from scripture and these quadrants were headed by Archangels with their names attached to them. Archangel Michael in charge of warfare, Archangel Gabriel in charge of Wisdom and Mysteries, and Archangel Lucifer in charge of Worship. These Archangels were created by God consistent with their ministry and operation.
Anything about warfare was created in Angel Michael which we will see as we proceed in this discussion. And angel Gabriel was created as the herald of visions, the messenger of God, and one of the angels of higher rank. He makes God’s message understandable to people and helps them to accept it with a pure heart., that’s why in Daniel 9:12 when He was withheld by the prince of Persia, he couldn’t fight his way out not until angel Michael came to contend with the prince of Persia. There is a system of order in heaven. Everyone must function according to the ministry they were created for.
And of course, Lucifer was created and made from the objective of worship, also full of wisdom and beauty because had access to the throne room of God and the mind of God, so he knew the kind of sounds and worship to release that will please God per time. The Bible says in Isaiah 6:6-7, Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down amid the stones of fire.
The Bible also recorded in Ezekiel 28:13 ‘’You(Lucifer) were in Eden, the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone covered you: carnelian, topaz, diamond, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald. Yes, God displayed craftsmanship on Lucifer. He was such a beauty to behold. He was a seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty {Ezek 28:12}.
But in all the beauty and Glory what happened? HE FELL. {Ezek 28:15-19, Isaiah 14:12-15} revealed how he fell from the realm of the Most High because he allowed himself to be filled with pride because of the beauty and splendor that was bestowed on him. PRIDE entered him and immediately the justice system of order in Heaven was against him which doesn’t give room for any form of impurity{Rev 12:1-12}.
Obedience and humility are one of the ways to remain on top or else, one will be judged and that will be the beginning of one’s destruction. PRIDE! PRIDE! PRIDE! Led to Lucifer’s fallen state. God Hates Pride with passion.
The devil is angry and still waging a serious war against the saints today because mankind was freely given the glory and splendor of being like God he was relegated to nothing for.
So, he will keep planting that same seed of pride in the hearts of as many as he could so man could also end up in that fallen state just like him.
