Text: Matthew 9:36-38

“When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”

Remember that it is the will of God that none of us should perish and that is why we are all given the mandate to go and disciple (tell the world of the love of God) others. This is part of loving our neighbor as you love yourself and we being our brother’s keeper. 1 John 5:14-15 says;

“This is the confidence that we have in God, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us and if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him”.

So, if you want to know and walk in that perfect way for your life which brings about that good and perfect life you desire, then pray according to the will of God.

God’s will is to see all His children redeemed from the power of sin (Repent from their sinful way) and one of the ways you can make this happen is by praying the prayer of intercession which is a prayer of Love.

Pray to God for the repentance of lost souls (those living an ungodly or immoral life), pray to God to send more workers to do the work of soul-winning, and pray that the Lord of Harvest (The Holy Spirit) help make the increase by capturing and convicting the heart of many to repent of their sinful ways…. This is part of our reasonable service to God.

Just as the bible says in Matthew 6:33 to seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and every other thing shall be accessible to us. So, all the good things we are chasing and desire will all be given to us when we do the things that mamakehe the kingdom of God grow. And one of the ways we can do that is through our prayer of love (Praying for the Church, and saints, and interceding for the lost ones).

Conclusion

The fruit of the [consistently] righteous is a tree of life(eternal life of good health and riches), And he who is wise captures and wins souls [for God—he gathers them for eternity] (Proverbs 11:30).

Your prayer of Love is part soul-winning, and God will surely hear and count it as righteousness for you.
