Text: Matthew 25:31-33 AMP
“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and majesty and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him [for judgment]; and He will separate them from one another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right [the place of honor], and the goats on His left [the place of rejection].”
Here is what Psalms 51:17 says,
“My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.”
But goats are the exact opposite. Now you know why God doesn’t want to have anything to do with goats and why He would place them in the place of dishonor (condemnation) on that glorious day of separation of the good (Sheep) from the bad (Goat)
Ephesians 2:1-2 EASY says,
Remember how you lived before. You did wrong things and bad things. As a result, you were dead in your spirits. You lived in a bad way, like the people who belong to this world. You were obeying Satan, who rules the powerful spirits in the air. Those spirits are working now in everyone who refuses to obey God.
Here is the mystery revealed which has been before you all this while. The devil himself is represented by a goat head (Baphomet) and has never tried to hide who he truly is, but the world has just gotten too comfortable with the darkness disguised as light.
But here is the breaker, those who live by the evil standard, culture, and values of this world influenced by Satan (king of goats) are all in the category of Goats who are all going to be placed in the place of dishonor, suffering, and condemnation as seen in our text (Matthew 25:31-33).
Keep in mind that God doesn’t take any liking to them because they refuse His perfect way and choose to walk in the way of disobedience like their father the goat (devil).
