Spiritual Relevance – Credit Score (Part 3)

 Text: Revelation 3:15-16AMP

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless) and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust].”

Being relevant to the plan of God is a currency in heaven that leads to eternal glory in as much as our relevance is important here on earth.

Many times, we think we don’t have credit points in heaven and the devil is so happy keeping us in this ignorant state.

Revelation 20:12 says,
“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth].”

If you didn’t notice, the scripture above says that books will be opened and one of the books is called the book of life what do you think the other book is? That is a question for you to figure out.

What should register in our heart as we read this is if books will be opened, that means everything we do here on earth is relevant and are all accumulated as our credit score on how relevant we were to the plan of God.

Living a good life isn’t to be limited to just this earthly realm. The question remains, what will happen after this earth passes away?

It is your relevance here on earth to ensure that the kingdom of God advances to the ends of the earth is what will be summed up as your credit score at the end. This will determine where you’ll end up spending your eternity.

Conclusion

What are you doing to ensure the advancement of the kingdom of God?

How are you winning people to Christ? Are you expressing the love of God to all mankind through obedience to the Spirit of love in you (Holy Spirit) and following the ways and precepts of Christ?

Meditate on these things.
