Text: Exodus 24:16-17

“Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day, He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.”

The dictionary meaning of an atmosphere is ‘the apparent mood felt in an environment’ or ‘the air in a particular place.’

The presence of God creates an irresistible atmosphere, that one will not want to shift away from. It’s in this atmosphere we feel the air of joy, peace, happiness, strength, and lots more. In God’s atmosphere, there is a feeling of safety and belonging.

It is an atmosphere that can be created intentionally through prayers, holy living, Faith, fellowship in the word, and fellowship with the brethren (believers). In this atmosphere, there is healing, deliverance, restoration, salvation, etc.

This was the atmosphere that was felt in the Garden of Eden. The same atmosphere was felt whenever God came down to speak with Moses to the Israelites. This atmosphere reflects God’s Glory.

It is very important to note that, every child of God needs to be surrounded and walk in this atmosphere.

Conclusion:

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully (Psalm 24:3-4).
