Have you ever wondered why you have been chosen to Lead, either as a Choir Master, a prayer leader, a Preacher, a Bible study Coordinator and so on?
Let me guess, you might be thinking, yes I am the best in this Department, and that is why you have been called to Lead. A wise man once Said “The Pride of Every Man is the beginning of his Fall”
Before you were called, a lot of things must have been put into place. Every Position you find yourself in life needs to be treated with caution. Our belief should be that, it is God who called us, not your Clergy, or the head of your Department. God Showed them Something Great in you, and that is why you were chosen among so many.
Don’t be carried away by how good you are in what you do, because you won’t know when Pride starts setting in. And we know that PRIDE is a work Tool of the Devil.
Dear brethren, this is the time to wake up and answer God’s call. Be Humble, be ready, and be intentional when he calls upon you. Never forget, it is a privilege to be a vessel in God’s vineyard.
