TEXT: John 15:7-8

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. [John 15]

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

The concept of God’s presence has to be mastered so that we can come into the fullness of Christ.

What gave Moses tremendous results was that he refused to lead without the presence of God. Even when God promised an angel, he was not satisfied until he got the presence.

Men like Elijah and David made us see that it is possible to reside in God’s presence. David said cast me not away from your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me. [Psalm 51:11]

Jesus said we have to abide (stay or dwell) in him so that we can make things happen. Even demons recognize the presence of God, that is why men with the presence don’t sweat to cast devils out.

The presence they carry is the testament that stands to witness the words which they utter. It backs it up with power and authority.

Jesus himself wants us to master that presence so that we may become fruitful and truly live as his disciples. Herein is my Father glorified that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. [John 15:8]
