Ephesians 5:15-16.

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Wisdom is an essential part of a man’s life. God expects man to walk in wisdom and knowledge, having an understanding of things. Proverb 4:7 says “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding”.

Without wisdom, man is described as a fool. And a fool is one who says there is no God and he does abominable things according to proverb 14:1.

1 Corinthians 1:30, Paul was speaking, “But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”

Christ is the wisdom of God, and any man who is in Christ is expected to be wise. How then do we show we are wise? By fearing the Lord (Proverb 2:5-6, 1:7). He that fears the Lord will keep his commandments ( Ecclesiastes 12:13).

We walk in wisdom by having the fear of the Lord in us and keeping his commandments even when it’s not convenient. The days are full of evil, only those that walk in the wisdom of God can produce good fruits.
